Job Description
Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for coordinating travel issuing official correspondence managing calendars and performing a variety of other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate travel arrangements for senior management and staff including booking flights hotels rental cars and other travel-related services.
Prepare and issue official correspondence including letters memos and reports ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
Manage calendars for senior management and staff scheduling appointments meetings and other events as needed.
Answer and screen phone calls and emails directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel and providing information as needed.
Maintain files and records ensuring that documents are organized and easily accessible.
Provide general administrative support including photocopying faxing scanning and mailing documents as well as ordering office supplies and equipment.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Preferred Skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Pay Range
$52300.00 - $78500.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion LLC (FMP) a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
