Senior Acquisition Specialist Active TS with SCI eligibility

Peraton is now hiring aSr Acquistion Specialist for its Federal Strategic Cyber program.

In this role you will:

• Coordinate purchases of hardware software and services in support of the equipment procurement mission.
• Identifythe procurement needs of theprogram.
• Conduct market research toidentifypotential suppliers and compare offers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secureadvantageousterms.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Develop procurement strategies andmaintainstrong working relationships with suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end procure-to-pay for CAP and ODC items: sourcing RFQs evaluation negotiation PO issuance and receipt/acceptance coordination.
• Coordinate with engineering contracts finance and program leads to ensure technical/contract compliance and budget alignment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university with 8 years of relevant experience OR a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Masters degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field with 6 years of experience OR Ph.D. in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • An additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of the bachelors degree.
• Demonstrated experience in purchasing procurement and/or acquisition.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
