Job Summary
Duties include but not limited to:
Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as Systems Engineering Plans technical reviews audits and interchange meeting materials (e.g. CDR TIMs)
Conduct trade studies on performance cost producibility maintainability and risk; support simulation studies and system effectiveness modeling
Perform proposal and modification evaluations for technical feasibility and cost effectiveness
Support developmental planning AoAs mission needs analysis sensitivity and uncertainty analysis and system comparison studies per DoD 5000-series guidance
Provide engineering assessments for training systems simulators integration requirements and system readiness reviews
Support source selection activities in a nondecisionmaking advisory role including documentation development and proposal reviews
Produce technical trade studies integration documentation and munitions-related engineering products; support risk management and milestone review preparation
Deliver systems engineering support for program oversight configuration management requirements management and interface management; utilize tools such as DOORS
Provide program engineering support for evaluations testing portfolio reviews and recommendations to improve system performance and compliance with specifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Top Secret
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in related disipline 15 years relevant experience; or Masters degree 10 years of relevant experience; or PhD 5 year of relevant experience
- Degree from an ABETaccredited engineering program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Air Force or DoD weapon system acquisition programs
Experience supporting ACAT I or ACAT II programs
Technical Skills
DoD and Air Force acquisition policy and reporting
ACAT I II and III program execution
DAMIR EDA PMRT CRIS
Cost schedule and performance management
Risk management planning and execution
Acquisition strategy and milestone documentation
Business Case Analysis and trade study development
