Senior Accountant

Were currently partnered with a top public accounting firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to take on more responsibility within engagements work closely with clients and continue building both technical and leadership skills in a collaborative growth-focused environment.

• Leading and completing compilation review and audit engagements
• Assisting with planning and execution of attest engagements
• Evaluating internal controls and performing audit testing
• Communicating directly with clients to gather and clarify information
• Supervising and mentoring staff accountants on engagements
• Preparing various tax returns (corporate partnership individual fiduciary) as needed
• Supporting special projects and firm initiatives

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting
• 2 years of public accounting experience
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP GAAS and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Exposure to a variety of audit accounting and tax engagements
• Hands-on experience with client relationships and engagement ownership

$75000 $100000 base bonus potential
