Senior Accountant Role:
The Senior Accountant will serve as the primary accounting lead for the organization and play a key role in stabilizing and organizing the accounting function during a period of transition and growth. This position is heavily transactional and high volume requiring someone comfortable working in the weeds while managing core accounting operations independently.

Responsibilities include:
preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting
maintaining the general ledger and reconciliations
overseeing journal entries and month end close
processing and managing high volume accounting activity
supporting audit and tax preparation activities
improving accounting workflows and helping automate manual processes
assisting with cleanup and structure within the accounting department
eventually helping oversee and delegate work to a future Staff Accountant

Preferred:
Senior Accountant level experience
professional services industry background
Sage Intacct experience
experience cleaning up or improving disorganized accounting processes
CPA or CMA designation
