Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable operations ensuring timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices and payments.
- Review and approve invoices payment requests and vendor account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate verification of purchase orders pricing freight charges and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies vendor disputes and payment issues.
- Monitor vendor accounts and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Oversee account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Develop and maintain AP procedures internal controls and best practices.
- Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Prepare AP reports aging schedules and payment status updates for management.
- Collaborate with Purchasing Receiving Finance and other departments to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Train and support AP staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 5 years of progressive Accounts Payable or accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of AP processes accounting principles and internal controls.
- Experience handling high-volume invoice processing and inventory-related transactions.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
