In this position youll oversee critical accounting functions lead month-end and year-end close activities ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide valuable financial insights that help guide business decisions. Position Details

• Pay: $80000.00 - 110000.00 per year
• Schedule:Full-Time MondayFriday 8:30 AM5:00 PM
• Location:In-person

As a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager you will:

• Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform reconciliations for cash fixed assets prepaid expenses liabilities and other balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting processes workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist with tax filings regulatory reporting and other compliance-related activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support business initiatives and financial reporting needs.
• Participate in ERP implementations system upgrades and process automation projects.

• Oversee the administration of corporate insurance programs serving as the key point of contact for brokers carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage timely renewals and compliance with contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience in financial reporting general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing implementing or maintaining internal controls.
• Experience with budgeting forecasting and FP&A activities.
• Experience mentoring staff leading projects or supervising team members.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP Oracle NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA designation or active CPA candidate.
• Public accounting experience.
