Senior Accountant
Work Model: Hybrid (Flexible) - 2x a week in office
Our client is a PE-backed global organization with a strong US presence and international footprint continues to grow steadily through organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions. They are seeking aSenior Accountantto join their U.S. finance team. Reporting to the Controller this role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to play a key role in a multi-entity subscription-based business.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close including journal entries accruals and prepayments
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 including deferred revenue schedules
- Partner with FP&A to deliver accurate financial data and support reporting needs
- Prepare financial statements variance analysis and management reporting
- Assist with audit tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
- Perform bank reconciliations fixed asset tracking and intercompany accounting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with U.S. and international teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 36 years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA preferred not required
- Strong understanding of US GAAP including ASC 606
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Exposure to subscription-based or multi-entity environments is a plus
