Overview
A well-established mission-driven organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to meaningful community-focused work.

• Support and execute the monthly close process including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and manage the general ledger ensuring proper classification across programs and grants
• Prepare financial reports schedules and account analyses
• Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis
• Support grant accounting compliance and reporting requirements
• Contribute to audit preparation and external audit requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insight and reporting support
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflows

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 37 years of accounting experience with non-profit exposure strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Month-end close
  • Account reconciliations
  • Financial reporting
• Exposure to grant accounting fund accounting or donor-restricted funds preferred
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks Intacct or similar)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced mission-driven environment
