Senior Accountant

SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting exceptional analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Oversee the general ledger including journal entries reconciliations and monthly close transactions are accurately recordedand properlydocumented.

• Collaboratewithbilling treasurypayrollaccounts payable and receivablestaff.

• Assistin the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor variances and provide analysis to support financial planning.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies. Participate in audits and implement recommendations for improvements.

• Conduct financial analysis toidentifytrends variances and opportunities for cost insightstomanagement.

• Mentor and support junior accounting staff. Oversee their work and provide trainingandguidanceas needed.

• Identifyopportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.

• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses as needed for management stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

• Crosstrainand serve asbackupforbi-weekly corporate payrollprocessing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance;CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and budgeting.

• Proficiencyin accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience withNetSuiteand Salesforceis a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
