Senior Accountant (Costpoint)

Our client is hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions within a Deltek Costpoint environment. This role partners closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller and plays a critical role in close reporting and audit support.
- Lead monthend and quarterend close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain accuracy of financial data within Costpoint
- Support billing revenue recognition and project accounting
- Assist with DCAA and external audit requests
- Identify process improvements and system efficiencies
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 47 years of progressive accounting experience
- Deltek Costpoint experience required
- GovCon experience strongly preferred (FAR/DCAA exposure a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills; CPA preferred but not required
