Senior Accountant

Job SummaryThe Senior Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations financial reporting account reconciliations and month-end close activities for several brands. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented have strong analytical skills experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work independently while supporting the accounting journal entries and maintain general ledger accountsPerform monthly account balance sheet and bank reconciliations including fixed assets project accounting and sales tax reportingAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare financial reports analyze variances and resolve discrepanciesManage audit requests and maintain accurate financial documentationEnsure compliance with company policies and GAAP standardsIdentify and assistwith process improvements and workflow efficienciesCollaborate with internal departments on accounting and mentor accounting team as degree in Accounting or Finance4 years of accounting experience preferredStrong Excel and analytical skillsExperience with P21 ERP system is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-starter with ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
