As a Senior Accountant (General Ledger) youll be a key player in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance for mission-critical programs. This is an opportunity to work in a high-growth GovCon environment supporting projects that matter on a national scale.
What Youll Do
- Own general ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate revenue recognition for government contracts (T&M CPFF FFP)
- Apply and monitor indirect cost rates and support Incurred Cost Submissions
- Partner across departments to resolve variances and improve processes
- Support audit prep tax filings and ERP integration initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- 6 years of accounting experience including payroll
- Strong GAAP knowledge and GovCon exposure (FAR/CAS compliance)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ADP and ERP systems (Navision/Business Central preferred)
- CPA or payroll certifications a plus
