As a member of the Electronics sales team the Senior Account manager will be responsible forthe pursuit of new business as well as account management for existing Electronic products. The responsible account manager will work directly with GM.
Your work will include but not be limited to:
- Ability to commercially manage programs with heavy involvement with OEM purchasing anf engineering and capacity planning
- Tracking and managing POs product pricing and billing/payment issues
- Maintaining and tracking program financials and improving program profitability
- Engaged in new product quote activities both internally and as the customer interface
- Extensive customer interface for commercial price negotiations
- Prepare analysis/executive summaries for business cases with recommednations for management
- Working GMs computer system (Suppky Power)
- Managing quotes for engineering changes
- Work on a global basis with global locations and in global time zones
- Could require occasional travel to Lear and/or Customer facilities
- Undergraduate degree - preferably in a business or technical discipline
- At least 7-10 years of sales experience as an account manager or technical sales engineer in the automotive industry
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Working knowledge of electronics and/or similar products
- Direct experience working with GM
