Semi-Trailer Technician Mesquite, TX

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a skilled Semi-Trailer Technician to inspect diagnose repair and maintain a variety of semi-trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience with trailer systems preventive maintenance and DOT inspections along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections diagnostics and repairs on dry vans flatbeds refrigerated trailers and other trailer types.
• Repair brakes suspension systems wheel ends lighting electrical systems doors roofs and trailer structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair air systems and trailer-related mechanical issues.
• Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous trailer repair or heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trailer brake suspension air electrical and structural systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Own tools and toolbox preferred.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to pass a background check drug test and physical.
