Security Supervisor- PT- The Roxian

Job Summary:

• Direct and supervise the security staff and other employees performingsecurity services for guests.
• Provideguest serviceby greeting and assistingguestsand responding toguestinquiries and complaints
• Lead staff ongoing staff training staff positioning ensuring that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details and managing breaks.
• Assist the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local state and federal laws and regulations.
• Oversees productivity and work assignments of the security staff and communicates with the designated Manager about any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
• Show CARE by participating in the venues sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Sets up/ tears down ingress and decide when to open/close smoking section throughout the evening.
• Lead team at end of show to close the venue- this includes taking out the trash clearing the balcony and emerald room of any debris sweeping moving the barricade into place and removing any trash from around the outside perimeter of the venue
• Train and evaluate security team members in venues.
• Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
• Role model and enforcesafety health and securitypriorities.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 yearsofexperience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of security operations safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
• Strong strategic thinking and creativeproblem-solvingskills
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communicationskills
• Acute sense of judgment tact and diplomacy
• Astrongsenseof teamwork and ability to executeprograms
• Position requires constant walking climbing stairs lifting and carrying 50lbs. and occasionalsitting
