Security officer for a construction site- downtown PHX
Seeking an experienced construction security officer for a part-time opening.
Must have security construction experience.
Two shifts available.
Must have an AZ guard card must have experience working security and fire watch on a construction site.

Looking for a part-time security officer for every Sunday night from 600pm to 530am and Wednesday from 5pm to 530am.
You can have one or both shifts. Both night shift on a construction site.
Busy downtown location- free parking included.
This is for security at a construction site in downtown PHX. We are looking for security officers that have experience in working security on a construction site outside and doing firewatch. Must know safety and OSHA standards for working at a construction site. This is an outside only post in the downtown PHX area.

Some of the duties included but not all.
- Using silvertrac for DARs 2 entries per hour
- Patrol the fenced areas.
- Working outside on your shift.
- Check all gates and fence lines.
- Do not let anyone on site overnight.
- Watch for fires or other emergencies.
- Firewatch. every 3-4 hours with a patrol twice an hour on property.
- Report all pipe leaks issues as needed.
- Keep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk and office areas.
- Walking stairs- ( 17 floors)
- Watch for theft vandals unauthorized people.
- Be able to use silvertrac for reporting hourly and incident reports.
- Patrolling and checking two areas an hour on silvertrac.
- Work mostly alone or the whole shift without supervision.
- Call 911 as needed or call police fire or ambulance.
- watching for fence jumpers or and keeping people out of the site
- Answer the site phone as calls may come in overnight.
- Be detailed aware and alert at all times.
- Walking for patrols every hour walking up and down stairs.
What to know-
Must be able to work alone and handle homeless persons with respect and care.
17 floor building. Stairs only no elevator. NOTE- you do not have to walk all floors each night but you do have to walk some stairs each shift. Be able to walk stairs up and down a few times a shift.
Must be in good physical shape/ fit.
Walking foot patrols walking stairs.
Work alone over nights. You are in a locked fenced area.
Be able to handle high stress situations and be able to handle difficult people.
Must wear hardhat safety vest and PPE at all times while on site on duty. ( which will be supplied for you)
Port-o-Johns on site only.
Must have a current AZ guard card.
Full training and safety gear provided all provided.
