As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Moreland GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication while working as part of a caring agile and reliable team that values integrity innovation and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and/or staff by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to Allied Universal and location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location common areas entrances exits and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for loitering unauthorized access policy violations and/or suspicious behavior and communicate observations to management or law enforcement when needed.
• Support closing and opening activities assist with crowd and/or queue observation during busy periods and help to deter theft vandalism and other disruptive activity through visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
