As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location you will conduct routine patrols monitor assigned areas and help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors contractors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings grounds parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions equipment concerns hazards and/or suspicious activity through required documentation and communication channels.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials observing visitor and contractor activity and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
