Job Qualifications and Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking security officers to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Chantilly VA location.
Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI
PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate or Salary Range: $32.73
RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
Patrol Buyers facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist observe report and contain.
Enforce Buyers access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
Subject to frequent interruptions.
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requires intermittent standing walking and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period.
Should have knowledge of NISPOM.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be U.S. citizen.
Must have a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.
Successfully pass criminal credit and driving records check.
Successfully to pass an employment physical.
Successfully pass criminal credit and driving records check.
Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
Communicate effectively.
Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
6 months or more of related security experience.
