As a Security Officer - Truck Gate Accessin Wilmington CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and support daily operations through visible presence routine patrols and strong this people-first role you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering professional customer service with integrity teamwork and a reliable agile approach.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors drivers vendors and employees by following site-specific access control procedures verifying credentials issuing passes and documenting arrivals and departures at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the facility help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity policy violations and/or security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting emergency response activities and coordinating with appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building gate areas loading and shipping zones parking areas and perimeter with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate logs visitor records truck and trailer check-in information and other required reports related to access control and daily security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
