Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors employees and/or contractors as they enter the location checking identification credentials and permitted items in accordance with post orders and agency guidelines.
• Respond to incidents prohibited item discoveries and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Monitor entry points and public areas for unusual activity help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
