As a Security Officer Security Screening in Kansas City KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and communications location where you will help monitor entry activity screen visitors and/or deliveries and support a professional welcoming atmosphere. This role blends customer service communication and attention to detail while helping to identify security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access protocols and/or security-related policies for a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees visitors contractors and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points screening equipment and/or credential checks to help support authorized access and identify items or activity that may require additional review.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned noting conditions that could impact daily operations or require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
