As a Security Officer Screening Technician in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control activities and/or emergency response support at a government location.
• Screen visitors staff and permitted items in accordance with post orders and applicable entry protocols and report concerns through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting security-related events and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials or authorization as directed and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter when assigned as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
