Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors staff and/or personal belongings in accordance with site protocols and report irregularities or prohibited items to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while supporting orderly access control and screening operations.
• Monitor entry points and help to deter unauthorized access by verifying credentials directing foot traffic and/or maintaining screening post awareness.
• Document screening-related activities observations and/or incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors staff and/or public agency representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
