As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a manufacturing and industrial location where you will help monitor entry points screen visitors and team members and support access control and other security-related operations. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service stay visible and communicate clearly while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation caring and integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control practices and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Screen people bags packages and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and report unusual findings through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials maintain visitor and delivery records and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business screening areas and perimeter noting facility conditions and reporting issues that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
