As a Security Officer Patrol Credential Verifier in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access control activities. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while contributing to a caring agile and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and program participants by following site-specific procedures access protocols and other security-related policies within a government services location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and/or contacting appropriate site personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility surrounding grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and common areas verify authorized access and report suspicious activity policy violations and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Complete detailed activity logs incident reports and shift communications and support emergency response activities according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
