Southern Indiana/Louisville Kentucky area

We are seeking a Security Officer who under general supervision and according to established procedures protects life and property of all persons on Baptist Health Floyd premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire theft and vandalism. Secures unlocks and protects hospital buildings. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel patients and visitors. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One year minimum experience in military security law enforcementhealthcare customer service and/or International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.

• Valid drivers license with good driving record

• BLS certification from approved BLS course required will provide training
