Security Officer Patrol Technology Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Technology Specialist in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service clear communication and dependable support while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control practices and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter monitoring for unusual activity operational concerns and potential hazards in industrial and outdoor environments.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor permissions and report unauthorized activity or policy violations to help support security-related operations.
• Complete routine reports logs and incident documentation and relay important information during shift changes to help maintain continuity of security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
