Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a municipal location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings public-facing areas parking locations and perimeter spaces to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and observe activity on the property to help support authorized entry visitor direction and/or adherence to location rules and posted requirements.
• Prepare routine reports on incidents patrol activities and/or notable observations and provide courteous assistance to employees visitors and members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to ride a bike is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
