Security Officer Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Specialist in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. At a healthcare location Allied Universal Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support staff residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare and housing environment.
• Respond to incidents behavioral health situations and critical events in a calm professional and problem-solving manner following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings common areas entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location documenting incidents and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Support a respectful and welcoming atmosphere by assisting with directions answering general questions and reporting maintenance access and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
