As a Security Officer Patrol Services Agent in Tamaqua PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support students staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff faculty and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with campus contacts and/or local emergency partners as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings parking areas common spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents observations and/or daily activity and provide routine information and assistance to people at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
