As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in BRIDGEPORT CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active supporting people first working as part of a team and bringing agility reliability innovation and integrity to each shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related support and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location sales floor exterior areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas for unusual activity assist with crowd and line management and support asset protection efforts through visible presence and observation.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned check that restricted areas remain properly controlled and communicate maintenance lighting and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
