As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Ashburn VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support students staff and visitors through outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff students visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or public agency partners as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas entry points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols reporting suspicious behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at a government education location by documenting incidents providing directions and assistance and maintaining awareness of surroundings during assigned patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
