As a Security Officer Patrol in Hackettstown NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first work with integrity and contribute through teamwork every day.

Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents maintenance-related concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout building interiors common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity unsecured areas and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances lobbies loading areas and other assigned posts to help support authorized access provide directions and report suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports incident documentation and shift activity logs and communicate with tenants visitors emergency responders and/or property representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
