As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Talladega AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the site. You will deliver strong customer service communicate clearly with staff and visitors and contribute to a people-first team culture grounded in reliability agility innovation and integrity at Allied Universal.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a government facility environment.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds entry points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location documenting observations assisting with visitor processing and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports maintaining awareness of changing conditions and following post orders and Allied Universal standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
