As a Security Officer Patrol Duties in Holyoke MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will also support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication while bringing agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to each shift.

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access guidelines and when appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns equipment issues and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points check credentials and/or visitor logs and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports noting maintenance or hazard-related observations and reporting security-related incidents policy concerns and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
