As a Security Officer Patrol Detail with Active Clearance in Reston VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aero and defense location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile reliable and innovative and always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $27.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds and perimeter areas at an aerospace and defense location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and report suspicious behavior policy violations and/or potential hazards to site leadership.
• Support site operations by observing sensitive areas following post orders and preparing accurate logs reports and incident documentation before during and after patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
