Security Officer Patrol and Access Control

As a Security Officer Access Control and Patrol in Watsontown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control and Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor entry points verify access and support a professional welcoming experience for visitors customers and staff. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel visitors vendors and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter noting unusual activity unsecured access points and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Support retail operations by documenting daily activity verifying credentials when required and assisting with security-related concerns involving customers staff and/or merchandise areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control / Badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
