As a Security Officer Patrol Analyst in Bloomfield CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity provide outstanding customer service and communication and contribute to a caring reliable team that values integrity agility and innovation every day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas loading docks trailer yards parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel visitors and/or deliveries verifying credentials following post orders and communicating with site representatives regarding access-related questions or concerns.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing shipping and receiving areas reporting damaged property or policy violations and maintaining accurate daily activity and incident records.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
