As a Security Officer Patrol Access Associate in Orlando FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observed activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior access issues and/or policy violations and report concerns to site contacts when needed.
• Assist with closing procedures after-hours checks and/or alarm-related responses as directed by site-specific post orders and location needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
