Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including operational areas buildings and perimeter zones while remaining aware that working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify visitor and contractor activity as directed by site procedures and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel following post orders and assisting with security-related responses to alarms disturbances and/or service calls.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
