Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors residents employees and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of public areas facilities parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location reporting suspicious conditions maintenance concerns and security-related incidents according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents public-service requests and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and authorized site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of security-related military or law enforcement experience or an associates degree in criminal justice.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and a baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
