Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures screening visitors verifying identification and credentials and controlling access to authorized areas within a government location.
• Monitor entrances exits gates and/or designated access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support established security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with staff visitors and/or public agency representatives as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs visitor records key and badge activity and other required documentation related to access control and daily post operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity facility issues and/or situations requiring security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A DPSS/DHS COLA with tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
