Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

   • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets as part of their daily tasks. This includes but is not limited to:
     • Navigating operating systems (Windows macOS iOS Android)
     • Utilizing software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace)
     • Accessing and managing email communications
     • Conducting online research and utilizing web-based tools
   • Candidates may be required to complete a skills assessment to verify their comfort level and proficiency with technology.

2. Customer Service Experience (B219):

   • Candidates should possess prior customer service experience which may include roles in retail hospitality call centers or any position involving direct interaction with customers.
   • Key competencies include:
     • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
     • Problem-solving abilities
     • Empathy and active listening
     • Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and control access for employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor contractor vehicle and delivery records and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points shipping and receiving areas parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
