Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel visitors packages and/or hand-carried items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and report unusual activity policy violations and/or suspicious items in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas shipping and receiving zones and the perimeter as assigned by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
