Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors drivers and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials manage visitor and contractor entry and document arrivals and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian access at gates docks and/or other designated entry points while maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas including the business perimeter parking areas and loading dock locations and report unusual conditions or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
