As a Security Officer - Overnights - Entry Levelin Twinsburg OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location Allied Universal Security Officers help manage access control monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication support daily operations and work as part of an agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying credentials screening visitors drivers and/or deliveries and documenting authorized movement throughout the location.
• Monitor gates entrances trailer yards loading areas and/or other restricted points to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter and key operational areas with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
