Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and authorization issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities entrances parking areas and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Support a professional and orderly environment by providing directions reporting maintenance or security-related concerns and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
