As a Security Officer Office Building in Irvine CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Allied Universal Professional in a commercial real estate office location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine tours support access control activities and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you assist tenants visitors and staff. Position Type: Full Time Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Respond to incidents property concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting information through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures and support property management with security-related requests and routine building operations as directed.
• Observe the location for maintenance issues suspicious activity and/or policy violations then communicate findings to the appropriate contacts for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
